Notifications
ClubRostr keeps you in the loop with an in-app bell and optional device push notifications — and gives you control over what reaches you and when.
The bell
Section titled “The bell”The bell at the top-left of the header shows your unread count.
- Tap it to open Notifications — your alerts listed newest first, each with a title, a short message, and when it arrived.
- Tap a notification to mark it read and jump straight to what it’s about — a session, a post, a challenge, and so on.
- Tap Mark all to clear everything at once.
- Pull down to refresh the list.
- All read? You’ll see All caught up.
Device push
Section titled “Device push”Push notifications reach you even when the app is closed or in the background.
- Just after your first sign-in you’re asked once: Stay in the loop. Tap Enable or Not now. You won’t be nagged again — you can turn push on later in Preferences.
- Your app-icon badge mirrors your unread count.
- Signing out stops that device receiving push.
Preferences
Section titled “Preferences”Open your Profile (top-right) and tap Open preferences to fine-tune how ClubRostr reaches you.
- Appearance — choose System, Light, or Dark.
- Show times in — Club time or My device.
- Session reminders — how far ahead you’re reminded about sessions you’re attending: None (the default), 1 hour, 3 hours, or 1 day before.
- Notification groups — switch off any category you don’t want: Posts, Sessions, Favourites, Membership & payments, Requests, and Challenges. Turning a group off stops both the in-app rows and the pushes for it.
- Push on this device — enable push here. If you’d previously blocked it, this opens your OS settings so you can allow it again.
- Quiet hours — while on, no pushes arrive overnight (roughly 22:00–07:00). The bell still fills up in the app, so nothing is lost — you just aren’t disturbed.
